A new yarn from Blue Heron. 65%silk/35% linen/750y/4oz skein.
Judy knit it using "Estuary" by Emily Wessel beading it to add sparkle to the water image. We blocked it and it is so soft, delicate and lacy. There was a lot of yarn left over so it could be made larger.

Here's an update on the baby turtle. She is now in her 8th month out of the nest and 2 3/4" long. She has a very healthy appetite.

 Eating a meal of wild shrimp, sweet potatoes, greens and strawberries.

 Catching and eating her first worm, a favorite food now.

She hangs out in this planter to get some sun and hunt worms while I garden.
