The Blue Heron
website is having a
makeover.We will
be expanding our
retail offerings with
yarns that will be
available nowhere
else. It will be
easier to find what
you are looking for
and will include new
features.

However, we must create some chaos first.
Please be patient with us and if you can't
find something today it will appear soon.
This one-skein scarf knit up quickly
on size 7 needles. I added beads to
the ends. The lace rib design created
a thicker fabric that still maintained
softness and drape.

The pattern will be available soon
as a kit.
I wanted to try out our new Silk/Merino Lace
yarn. I thought a scarf would be fun. I found
the Hanami Scarf designed by Melanie
Gibbons and loved the Cherry blossoms.
However, I wanted to use beads with this
scarf so I substituted beads for lace.

The scarf is very soft and drapes beautifully.
Even at this generous size I had a lot of yarn
left over.

Two new designs from us using the same
technique for color placement as the Red
Star Tunic. It was so much fun to do.
These will not be the last.
Available soon as kits.
